QR code for your restaurant menu
Printed QR codes on your tables that suddenly stopped working one morning? A redirect service may have suspended the link after a trial, but a deleted page or printing problem is another possible cause. Here, your menu QR is generated inside your browser: no server is involved, so it cannot expire. Point it at your menu's web page or PDF, print it, done.
Customize QR
A QR code carries redundancy: the reader rebuilds modules that are stained, creased or hidden. The higher the level, the more damage it takes, but the bigger the code gets. At the same print size, each module therefore becomes smaller.

1. Host your menu
Put your menu online: a page on your website, a PDF on your own hosting, or your Google Business profile. You must control that URL.
-
2. Paste the URL into the generator
The QR appears instantly. Add your logo and brand colors if you like. The contrast checker will warn you if it stops being scannable.
-
3. Download as SVG or PDF
For print (table tents, stickers), prefer SVG or PDF: they are vector formats and stay sharp at any size. Aim for at least 1.2×1.2 inches printed.
-
4. Test before printing
Scan with both an iPhone AND an Android. If your menu URL ever changes, that's the only case where you'd reprint, or use a dynamic QR to change the URL without reprinting.
Will this QR code expire?
No, never. It is generated in your browser with no middleman server: it encodes your menu URL directly. As long as your menu is online, the QR works.
What if my menu URL changes?
A static QR encodes the URL permanently: you would regenerate and reprint. If your URL changes often, a dynamic QR service can let you edit the destination without reprinting. QR Permanent does not offer dynamic codes yet.
Why did my old QR codes stop working?
You probably created a 'dynamic' QR with a free-trial generator: the QR pointed at their server, and they cut the redirect when the trial ended. Our static QRs go through no server at all.
